Pinot Noir is like the prom queen of the wine world - elegant, sophisticated, and always the center of attention. With its delicate and complex flavor profile, this grape variety is the ultimate diva of the vineyard. It's like a ballet dancer in a glass, gracefully twirling and pirouetting with every sip. But don't let its refined nature fool you - Pinot Noir can also be a bit of a rebel. With its unpredictable growing habits and finicky temperament, it's like the bad boy of the wine world. You never quite know what you're going to get with a Pinot, but that's part of the thrill.
Black Estate 'Damsteep' Pet-Nat 2021
Amadahy Nez de Clown NV
Borachio Pash Rash 2021
Commune of Buttons Basket Town 2021
BK Wines ‘Carbonic’ Pinot Noir 2021
Kunoh Wasurenagusa 2020
First in line is Black Estate's pet-nat that offers bright fruit, florals and really fine bubbles. A poolside kind of wine. One of the newest additions to our portfolio, Amadahy, bring the Beaujolais fire. Only cca 1000 bottles produced. Feels fresh, clear and easy. Overall an interesting wine, without a doubt one of the best blends we’ve ever had. Next we cover 3 Pinots from Australia – Commune being the most layered, Borachio bringing a glou-glou pet nat and BK delivering something along the lines of a Gamay-esque Pinot.
Back to New Zealand, this time to the South Island’s Nelson. Two wonderfully unique blends from Kunoh and his teacher Kindeli that will get you thinking all about summer food and mindless activities in the sun.
