Delinquente is a winery that stands out with its quirky labels and delicious, straightforward wines. Screaming Betty is 100% Vermentino. Splashes of green apple, kiwi, pear. Super low on the alcohol front and tons of bright acidity to complement.
Glou glou would be an understatement. Maloof’s Thistle is a Pinot Gris fermented in neutral oak barrels and sur lie aged with no batonnage for 9 months. Bright and electric in nature. With Black Estate’s Riesling you’ll have a party on the nose and party in the mouth. Quite big in flavour and intensity, and a perfect summer drink.
Maloof’s rose-ish blend of Pinot Gris, Riesling & Schönburger (no black grapes used) is marked with soft texture with a light chalky-powdery grip. Good little drink. Kunoh brings a blend of 5 different Pinots to the table, one of the most unique wines we’ve tried this year.
And we end with a heavy hitter, but one that still preserves finesse and elegance. Owen Latta does magic in Victoria!
