PRODUCER SPOTLIGHT: VINCENT & MARIE TRICOT

Anjou native Vincent Tricot left the Loire in the early 1990s to attend Oenology School in Beaujolais. His wife Marie comes from a family of vignerons from Beaujolais. It was in Beaujolais where they both became attracted to the non-interventionist style of winemaking. In a quest for the terroir and vines with which to work in this spirit, they moved to Auvergne in 2002. Producing some of the most distinct wines of the country, Marie and Vincent Tricot have been mentors to many young winemakers in the region, their drops being a vital reference point for the youth.
