Jérôme Bourgeois-Diaz is a fourth generation wine grower on his father’s side but the first of his family to produce his own Champagne. Despite his deep family roots, Jérôme was not always working the vines. He didn’t like vineyard labour as a child so he enrolled to study sales before pursuing a career in industrial sales. As fate would have it, Jérôme soon got bored and craved being close to nature. Thus in 2000, he decided to return to Crouttes-sur-Marne and signed up for a one-year grape growing and winemaking course in Avize, before joining the family estate.
